Ann Marie received her B.A. in Modern Languages from the College of the Holy Cross, U.S.A. Returning home to Nassau after graduation, she began working in the Hospitality Industry at a world-renowned resort on Paradise Island. No stranger to hard work, she began as a front desk clerk and quickly moved up the ranks into the Private Club assisting and working with high-net-worth guests and celebrities, and was then promoted to various management posts. Recruited to open a resort property in Freeport, Grand Bahama, Ann Marie spent the following ten years pursuing her passion and opened several key resort properties in Freeport and Nassau/Paradise Island.

In less than three years, having sold millions of dollars worth of real estate, she became a licensed Broker. In 2001 she was recruited as Senior Vice President and Broker of the Real Estate office in Lyford Cay and ultimately opened Holowesko Realty in 2004 with her sister Diane Holowesko.
